Training is an integral part of Community Employment.

Each learner on a Community Employment scheme designs an Individual Training Plan (ILP) which outlines work experience & both job specific & progression training.

Participants also complete additional job specific training which support them in carrying out their duties while on the scheme. Some of the job specific training opportunities we offer participants are Hand Held Pesticide Application, Horticultural Tools and Equipment & Payroll – Manual & Computerised, Excel Spreadsheets and Word.

All participants are required to participate in basic Health & Safety training in line with our Health & Safety measures.
